Experienced leadership matters.

Sharona’s Vision for Beverly Hills:

Continue to Keep Beverly Hills Safe

Public safety is the most important responsibility of city government. Strengthening partnerships with our police and fire departments is a top priority, while embracing advanced technology and innovative tools to ensure every corner of Beverly Hills remains one of the safest cities in the nation.

  • Continue strengthening the Beverly Hills Police and Fire Departments with advanced technology and resources and hire more officers.

  • Expand proactive safety tools such as the Real Time Watch Center, AI-assisted policing technology, and BH Fire Watch.

  • Ensure preparedness for major regional events, LA28, Metro expansion, emergency response, and Evacuation Drills.

  • Continue supporting programs such as the Nurse Practitioner Program and BH Wellness Network that provide affordable emergency medical transportation for residents and families.

  • Elevate safety across Beverly Hills’ Metro connections through a dedicated police safety center, enhanced sworn officer presence, and proactive, visible policing that safeguards riders, residents, and surrounding neighborhoods.

Plan for the Future

Beverly Hills has a unique character that must be protected. I will continue standing up for our neighborhoods while navigating difficult state mandates such as Builder’s Remedy and housing requirements.

  • Advocate for legislative reforms that restore local input on development decisions and continue fighting for Beverly Hills at the regional and state levels.

  • Ensure rigorous and transparent review of new development proposals to protect neighborhood character while planning responsibly for future growth.

  • Demand stronger accountability from Southern California Edison and other public utilities to ensure reliable service, clear communication with residents, and faster response when issues arise.

  • Educate renters on their rights through clear, accessible assistance and fair housing resources.

Fiscal Responsibility & Transparent Leadership

Responsible financial stewardship ensures Beverly Hills can maintain essential services while planning for the future.  Transparent leadership means showing up, listening, engaging openly, and bringing people together.

  • Maintain balanced budgets and strong financial reserves to prioritize funding for public safety, infrastructure, and essential city services.

  • Continue transparent budgeting and priority-based financial planning.

  • Encourage thoughtful investment that strengthens our local economy.

Residents First Approach

Beverly Hills is strongest when every generation feels connected and supported.

  • Continue town halls and community conversations, and keep decision-making transparent, collaborative, and resident-focused.

  • Expand programs and engagement opportunities for seniors and active adults. Promote more housing options for seniors.

  • Continue to support our schools and students by developing a stronger relationship with the School Board.

  • Encourage civic engagement among youth through initiatives and events.

  • Strengthen homeless outreach by connecting people to mental health care and housing, while partnering with LA County to deliver measurable results.
